Interview at 1,500 Feet

I'd like to take a couple lines and dedicate them to talking about great people. I've encountered more than a handful of them over the past 12 months but one that I'd like to talk about right now is a Photographer working under the banner of Weber Photography. His name is Cory Weber he lives the life of a hard working wedding photographer of the better sort, as well as a father, husband, and diligent artist.

I was able to simultaneously shoot film of both an early October wedding as well as Cory as he worked. God shined down upon the day with beautiful light and clear weather. I arranged the footage with an interview that we filmed later in Leelanau County and with a custom score written and recorded by Grant Floering. Grant is another great person that needs talking about, and I hope to soon.

The great thing about shooting video with a DSLR while working with a photographer is that, if the photographer is keen, I can borrow his lenses while filming. So needless to say this piece was filmed with an assortment of lenses. I used the 5D Mark II and did all colour and compositing in Photoshop Extended. I kept my colour grading subtle to keep from competing or clashing with the photographs.
