This piece is the long awaited addition to my work with the film about the early life of Josh McDowell, a well renowned speaker and author. This film was shot in all four seasons and my job was to film the production process and out of the footage create two 3 minute promotional films for the two main parts of the production in October 2010 and in May 2011.
The piece from October was finished before I left for Australia in January, where I worked on a lot of smaller projects as well as the short film Old Hope. I flew back on May 4th and followed the production around for 3 weeks filming in Traverse City, Chicago, and Baltimore. It's July now and the new promotional piece is done and ready to post. It was released by the production company almost immediately which means I ALSO can post it immediately. Ta da! I'm not sure if I'll get around to doing a post about the process for this one, unfortunately, but I never know.
Produced by JohnPaul Morris. Score composed and recorded by Grant Floering.
Shot with the Canon 60D and Canon 550D
Nikkor 50mm 1.8
Canon Ultrasonic 35mm 1.4
