The 5D Mark II

In September it worked out, because we had so many shoots going, to take some money and throw it at renting a Mark II, arguably the best HD video/film camera available. I'd love to own a couple of these but for now we have to be content with renting them when the budget is friendly enough for it.

I was able to shoot 4 different projects with the Mark II, all within a 12 day period. On Saturday I shot a wedding with Cory Weber of Weber Photography to put together a promotional video of his exceptional work. One of these days I'll post a link to his page. On Monday I started a week long shoot with Author and Speaker Josh McDowell, filming a "making of" piece for his new film. That was a 8am to 6pm shoot from Monday to Friday. Then on Sunday I ran up to Omena and shot another promotional video for Simply Blue which I will begin editing soon. On Tuesday I drove down to Grand Rapids and did a short stint with Jacob Bullard, and great friend of mine and incredibly talented singer song writer. I hope to do one last film project with him in January before Eleven35 leaves for Australia. It's still in the planning stages but I'm very excited for it.

I have just finished editing the Josh McDowell piece and wanted to upload some stills I snapped during the shoot. I'll have the video up as soon as I have permission to do so from Josh McDowell Ministries. Can't wait.

So much to do. Must not blog now.
